When I was a kid, which feels like a lifetime ago (probably because it was!), I didn’t travel much, but I always had that itch—the kind you can’t scratch with a regular nine-to-five. So, I completed a 2-year Travel & Tourism Diploma and then landed a gig with a well-known airline in their sales department. For the next 15 years, I loved visiting some incredible places across America, the Far East, and the Caribbean. Barbados? Absolute favourite for many reasons and I mean, who doesn’t love a place where the only ice you see is in your piña colada!
I’ve always loved sharing my travel stories and tips—it’s like living vicariously through someone else’s vacation. There’s nothing quite like hearing someone say, “That was the best trip ever!” and knowing you played a part in creating it.
In 2015, I joined Prestige Travel, where we craft bespoke itineraries to Canada and our new USA program. And, yes, I occasionally dabble in bookings to the Caribbean—I can’t resist!
Canada has been my playground, both for work and personal adventures. I’ve explored Toronto’s skyline, felt the mist of Niagara Falls, strolled through Montréal and Québec City, marveled at Vancouver, and soaked in the beauty of Lake Louise and Banff. And let’s not forget the Rocky Mountaineer—sipping champagne while gazing at the Rockies was breathtaking!
